Hi...I'm TANISHA LONG

Hi Interverse! I’ve missed you so very much! And I’m happy to have returned with good or even magical news..I’m making a pilot! It’s called “When I Grow Up” and it’s a single-camera live-action comedy about three young multicultural ladies (Tanisha, Becca and Alexa) and their post grad quest for independence and happiness in New York City. It will feature an all-star cast of NYC comedians and actors that you know and love! Right now I’m trying raise money via Kickstarter to help with production expenses. Do you have $1 or five of those laying around somewhere not being used? Then you should really consider backing my project on Kickstarter and supporting independent comedy!!

I’m on set at a top secret ass shoot for the next 6 days (the shoot is top secret not the asses) with Shamikah Martinez’s bun and Don Fanelli and Ed Larson and Andy Rocco. SHIT’S ABOUT TO GET REAL!!!!

I just wrapped another episode of Video on Trial for Fuse TV.  Shortly after this picture was taken I did a lot of creepy air grinding, and screaming about wanting to see butts. You can see me in all my creepy glory on Fuse TV in February.

I’m about to run off to some auditions then rehearsing with The Enemy, but first answer this question…Do I look like I have Asthma? It’s kinda important…Also a movie that I was lucky enough to be a part of, “That’s What She Said” is premiering at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. I guess I should go practice my Asthma face some more.

Happy New year mf’ers!!! Also this lovely little video that I was part of was just named one of the best comedy videos of 2011 by The Huffington Post!! And I’ll be making some Improv magic tonight @ 8 with The Enemy @ The Peoples Improv Theater (123 E 24th St.). It’s free and I may or may not be wearing pants.

Tonight @ 8 @ The PIT (123 E 24th st.) I’ll be doing a free improv show with The Enemy as per usual. In the mean time check out one of my favorite @collegehumor sketches that I got to be a part of. It was directed by Josh Ruben and stars Thomas Middleditch and it’s nasty as hell, and not get a boner nasty, it’s I think I’m never going to get a boner again nasty. Yeah.

Three Things:

1-Check out this really cray cray CollegeHumor sketch where I totally “sing”  (not really).

2- It’s the one year anniversery of me performing on a house team @ The Peoples Improv Theater. Yeaaaaaaahhhhh!!!

3-Come to The Peoples Improv Theater and watch make something funny and weird (but mostly weird) theater with The Enemy tonight @ 8pm!!!
